We are thrilled to announce that Pamela Trautner has joined the Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED) as our new Events Manager!

With her expertise and passion for creating impactful experiences, Pamela will oversee the planning and execution of all KAED events. From conferences to networking opportunities, she will ensure our events continue to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth across Kentucky’s economic development community.
Pamela’s background and experience dovetail nicely with KAED’s mission and outreach. She spent nearly 27 years in state government, 12 of which she worked in various capacities in the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. From international marketing to business development to communications, she worked with state, local, national, and international government leaders and business representatives to locate new operations throughout the commonwealth. At the local level, she was the executive director of Commerce Lexington’s Business and Education Network where she helped connect educators with regional businesses to advance understanding of how students need to be prepared for the workforce and opportunities available to them. Rounding out her state government career, she was the communications director for the Justice and Finance Cabinets.
Please join us in welcoming Pamela to the KAED family! We look forward to the incredible work she will do to make our events even more engaging and successful. Join her in Paducah on April 14-16 for the KAED Collaboration Conference.
