12/24/2024

Danny Isaacs, Economic Development Regional Consultant for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), has been awarded the prestigious Allied Professional Award by the Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED). A key to any location is the assistance and expertise offered by economic development professionals in areas such as utilities, job training, construction, education, government, and research.  The Allied Professional of the Year Award recognizes one of those professionals and their invaluable contribution to a community’s development efforts.

Danny Isaacs, a steady and impactful leader, has dedicated his career to fostering economic growth in local communities. Before joining TVA, Danny served at the Mountain Association for Community Economic Development (MACED), where he worked to strengthen local economies through community development initiatives. He later transitioned to leading economic development efforts for the City of Berea, where he played a pivotal role in shaping its economic landscape.

Since joining TVA, Danny has continued to demonstrate his commitment to regional economic advancement. His leadership and dedication have not gone unnoticed, particularly during KAED’s time of transition, where Danny has been a key figure on the KAED Board of Directors, providing guidance and stability.

“It is an honor to receive this award from an organization that does so much to support economic development across Kentucky,” Isaacs said. “I am proud to be part of the KAED community and to continue working alongside such dedicated professionals in driving our region’s economic future.”

The KAED Allied Professional Award celebrates professionals outside the traditional scope of economic development agencies who have contributed meaningfully to the field. Danny’s tireless work in both local and regional settings has made him a deserving recipient of this year’s recognition.
